The next Full Moon is Monday 27th November and is often named The Beaver Moon , a legacy which harks back to Native American Indians. Sometimes it goes by other names too – the Cold Moon, or the Wolf Moon, accredited to the ancient Celtic tribes.

Our ancestors held a healthy respect for the Moon and her cycles. It was often seen as a time to reconnect with the cycles of nature as well as the moon phases and it also links back to times of a belief in Gods, Goddesses and Nature Spirits.

It was also believed that the Full Moon linked to divination or the ability to connect with spirit ancestors to guide and protect them. I’m a firm believer in the draw of the Full Moon’s cycle at this time and consider it a great time for readings, especially Tarot.
